Building Performance Evaluation

Improve Building Performance, Increase Occupant Satisfaction

Backed with the results from our Building Performance Evaluations, you can identify performance gaps and undertake potential retrofit measures.

A Building Performance Evaluation (BPE) can be conducted by our team on both newly completed and existing developments. This consists of a whole building assessment to identify the performance gap between the design aspirations and the operating building performance reality.

This evaluation considers varied aspects of the asset, covering energy efficiency, occupant health and wellbeing, maintenance, safety and public liability. The BPE results then kick-off a fresh review of building management policies and procedures, and possible potential retrofit measures. The positive outcomes include improved performance, increased occupant satisfaction and lower operational costs.

A Post-Occupancy Evaluation (POE) is also often carried out by our team at the start of any BPE in order to fully assess the existing condition and performance of a building. This is an evaluation of occupant behavioural patterns, such as hours of occupancy, as well as gaining feedback from the occupants themselves helps bring to the forefront any recurring issues that can be addressed.
